What are your opening hours?

We are open for lunch 7 days a week from 11:30am and for dinner on Saturday evenings from 6:00pm

How late can I get lunch?

We take our last lunch orders at 3:00pm and the restaurant is open through until 5:00pm or when our last diners have finished their experience with us.

Do you offer an a la carte menu?

Due to the shared style of dining we provide, we don’t offer a traditional a la carte style menu option. We have two set price menu options where you can either allow our kitchen team to select a range of dishes for you to enjoy, or for tables of up to 6 guests you have the option of selecting 5 dishes from our menu to share as a table.

Do I need a reservation?

While we will always do our best to cater for walk-in guests we highly recommend making a reservation so we can provide you with the best table possible for your experience with us. Reservations can be made either by calling us directly or using our online reservation system on the website.

Do you cater for dietary needs?

Yes, we pride ourselves on our ability to cater for most common dietary requirements and we ensure that guests feel part of the dining experience despite what their needs may be. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy free as part of our normal program and with sufficient notice we will do our very best to cater for any additional needs guests may have. Please inform us when making a reservation or upon arrival to accommodate your needs.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome on the lawn area at the Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, however we do not allow dogs or other pets to be at the table while you are dining. If you have a dog you are wanting to bring along, please let us know and we will do our best to seat you at a table adjacent to an area where the dog can be tied.

Do you allow BYO?

Due to our co-location with the Jacob’s Creek tasting room and the wonderful selection of drinks we have available, we do not offer a BYO option.

Are there only Jacobs Creek wines available?

In addition to a wonderful selection of Jacob’s Creek wines, we also have a large number of small producers’ wines from the Barossa and South Australia. Our beverage list also has a wide range of local beers, ciders, spirits and cocktails available.

Do you allow functions and private events?

We have a range of flexible spaces to cater for a wide variety of functions and events, from small group gatherings to large corporate events. Feel free to visit our group dining page on our website for more details.

Can I bring my own cake?

You are more than welcome to bring a cake along for your birthday celebration. If you would like to have the cake as part of your dining experience we have a $5pp cakeage charge. We will cut, plate and serve the cake for you.

What is your credit card guarantee policy?

Is there a surcharge for card payments?

We have a flat surcharge rate of 1.0% for all payments made by card. Payments can still be made by cash with no additional charge

Do you cater for kids?

We pride ourselves on being a family friendly venue and the Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre has a wonderful lawn and surrounds for kids to play in. We have a separate kids menu for guests aged 12 years and under designed to cater for younger tastes. Kids are also welcome to join you in either of our Feed Me options at a 50% discounted price.

Do you have outdoor seating available?

We have two outdoor areas available for guests to choose from for their dining experience. Our courtyard area sits adjacent to the lawn and is the perfect place to enjoy lunch on a pleasant day with full shade from 11:30am onward. We also have our Atrium area which has an opening roof and clear awning blinds and can be utilised for larger group dining and in a variety of weather conditions. Please advise us at the time of booking if you have a preference of seating area.

You can purchase gift vouchers for Harvest Kitchen through our website by clicking on the appropriate tab.

Can I do a wine tasting with my lunch?

As Harvest Kitchen and Jacob’s Creek are separate businesses and operate under different liquor licences, structured wine tastings of the Jacob’s Creek range are not able to be conducted in the restaurant area. If you would like to book a wine tasting either prior to or following your dining experience you will receive a link in your booking confirmation.
